Leave Bryn & Nics at 08:45 to catch the 09:00 bus from Witington high street for the airport.
All went well and arrived at the airport at 09:40. Walked to Terminal 2, bag checked in, then through security..........all cool.
Worst flight i ve ever been on .............Air Canada Rouge.....especially the farce at Toronto airport................out and back in again.
Arrive Vancouver 18:40.........good job i booked a hotel (Quality Hotel Airport South).....really good and only £47 with breakfast !!! Not a great deal for breakfast though and it was chock a block with Chinese.................all good though.

After breakfast i get a lift in the free bus to Bridgeprt bus Terminus. Bus 620 goes to Tswassen ferry terminal......07:45 bus.........takes about 40 minutes. All good stuff $4 Canadian.
Ferry leaves at 09:00.............$19 Canadian.
Andrea & Larry at Schwartz Bay to meet me.................such good mates.......brilliant.
Jobs to be done on Novara...as usual, but we have a few good times with Kevin Scott from Call of North. The rugby world cup was on........so off to the Irish bar for a few Guiness and lunch. Poor old Kevin was devastated when England were beaten by Wales..........ooooo dear !!!

Anacortes bound.
We slip the berth in Victoria about 08:30 and set out for Anacortes to see Barton and get the Kabola serviced by Lars.
A motor over, as it seems to be the norm these days. Good weather and lovely scenary make up for it.
Arriving after lunch, we are met by Barton........it's brilliant to see him again.
Steve heads off to sign in with the CBP .....Customs. He is soon back saying they want to see us all at the office.....................gawd, now what !!!
It transpires Steve, Trish and i are all ok, as we have the 10 year visas.
They are not too happy with Tel though, who has still only got his ESTA (i did warn him in Kodiak earlier this year. The US Customs do not like yachties coming in and out of the USA on an ESTA). He was very lucky to get away with a warning, they let him off the $585 fine !!!! Lucky Tel !!!
What a fantastic time we had with barton over the few days we were in Anancortes, dined out, went for a walk on Mount Erie, frequented a few breweries, went flying in his plane and generally had a reet good time of it......................such a star and a gentleman, great to have barton as a friend , he really is top banana !! :-)
Lars from Kabola comes over to service the furnace............he said we did a good job keeping it running over the last year........that's nice to know.
So, furnace all serviced, we're ready to go to San Francisco.
Well, all good things must come to an end and we leave Barton and head south.
